Hello. I am so glad I found this site! I am planning a road trip with 2 pals. We're going from San Francisco to New York. We don't have a super strict schedule, though we are thinking it will be about 14 days. We are planning a mixture of camping and staying in hotels/cabins.
Here is what we have so far:
day 1: Yosemite National Park
day 2: Las Vegas
day 3 + 4 (?): Grand Canyon (North Rim) - we might stay another night camping in Kaiab Lodge

From here, we are up in the air with what too see next .... Our next planned destination is Nebraska (we are zig-zagging, but we have our reasons) .... what do you recommend we see in-between? We are thinking either Bryce Canyon or Mesa Verde .... other options are: Dinosaur National Monument (is this worth seeing? can you access the UT side?), Arches National Park, the Canyonlands ... we could probably take another 2 or 3 days in the region - and we would rather take some time to see things and do a little hiking, then just driving through all of them.

From Nebraska, we will probably take 80 all the way through .... any suggestions for Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio? any good National Parks or Oddities along our route? we would be willing to veer from 80 for something worth it.
Any suggestions are welcome!
