First Solo Road Trip , and Slightly Scared

If you go the fastest way, it does take you past Mount Airy and through Charlotte. However, going via Asheville only adds about 30 minutes and will keep you out of Charlotte traffic, and if Lifey is recommending a particular hostel there, you should be fine.

i dont think its a must , as long as its not out of the way too much ~ :)
its a cute little place ~ i might even opt for the $35 room so i have a little more privacy if they have it available when i get there . thanks for showing that to me ! :) i feel a little more confident about this trip now ~ knowing i dont have to worry about being sleepy and wanting to rush there ~

i know how to change a tire ~ so that dont worry me to much , but if i do need more assistance , i think my dad does have some kinda roadside assistance (the car im taking uses it too), not sure if its AAA or something else though ~

ill be getting a nice map , and people told me i shouldnt print out the road by road thing , but i think im still going to do that , so i can know what the roads and highways are called .. eaiser to look at paper that says it in big words then having to focus on small print on a map i think .. i wont be relying on them TOO much though .. just to make sure what road to be on and all that .. and GPS will be more of a safetly blanket then anything , ill make sure what its telling me is whats on my map i been studying the roads , going to google maps earth and checking out what the roads look like and whats around there , so i can see if i can spot them when im driving ~ .. lol

i got 17 days till i leave on my trip and im getting really excited about it now ~ :) the fear is barely there ~ :D
