Roadtrip
If you've never been to "L.A." - be sure to stay away from downtown...stay coastal. If you want good surfing, head to Orange County - specifically Huntington and/or Newport Beach. There's fun nightlife in most of the coastal towns from San Diego to Manhattan Beach (and beyond)! San Francisco is about 6-8 hours by car (only 1 hour by plane) and is well worth the trip!(As for sharks, they usually like warm water, I believe and our water isn't that warm!) have fun!

Summer Fun...
O.K. guys this is what you need to do. Head West. You are out of your mind if you don't stop off in Lake Havasu City, AZ for a few days, preferably around a major holiday. If you think spring break is crazy then you are in for a big surprise!! Yes, it is the hottest damn place on earth, especially if camping but, the water is awesome, the girls even hotter, and you should be able to get by pretty cheap. You can hang out in the channel without having a boat and have fun (if you guys had a boat you would be golden). Anyway, stop in Havasu/Parker on your way to San Diego or better yet, head to Mexico ( San Felipe, Rocky Point, or Ensenada). Spend a few days in Mexico then head back through Las Vegas. Trust me, this is what you NEED to do.

Good Advice!
I don't know how we could forget fun at the River -- for Spring Break. I agree that it can be party time at Havasu/Parker for Spring Brea. One year, it was nearly possible to walk completely across the river by stepping from one boat to the other. It has become a mecca for modeling the latest in swim fashions!

We want results!
Steve,
When you get back -- I hope you share your discoveries with this group. Spring break is more of a happening than a place!
