    Default Route 6 through PA.

I'd have to add my voice to the suggestion of route 6... there is so much variety of interest along this route, besides the hi-lights already mentioned. And yes, the Kinzua bridge site is still a great site of interest, despite the bridge being on the valley floor. It is one of my favourite drives.

I am more than happy for this alternative suggested by you and AZBuck.
I would definitely want to add Grand Canyon of PA and Wellsboro and a drive through Route 6.
Could you kindly, advise the best route from Detroit/ Cleveland and where should we break for the night.
    Thanks a lot.

    Default A Couple of Options

Probably the easiest way to get ot US-6 from Cleveland is to take I-90 east out of town and exit on to US-6N at West Springfield PA and follow it to where it Joins US-6 near Mill Village. Another option would be to stay on I-90 until past Erie and then get on I-86 to Jamestown NY. There you could visit the Lucy and Desi Museum before heading south on NY-60/US-62 to join US-6 in Warren PA.

We have decided to stopover at Cleveland for the view at the rock amd roll museum and will be avoiding Detroit. So will start from Chicago on to cleavland.

I doubt you would have time to do Chicago to Cleveland and do the Museum all in one day so you should probably spend the night in Cleveland. I'd consider doing the Museum the next day and then wandering up the coast of Lake Erie to Erie, Pennsylvania and spending the night there. In Erie, Presque Isle State Park is a nice place to visit. You could then pick up US 6 the next morning and have about a 180 mile drive to the Grand Canyon Of Pennsylvania and get you there while the sun was still high in the sky.
