Me and my friend are going to have our liscenses by August and just want to have fun before school starts back up on August 31st, we're leaving from the Boston area and wanted some fun places to go for about a week to 2 week drive

Me and my friend are going to have our liscenses by August and just want to have fun before school starts back up on August 31st, we're leaving from the Boston area and wanted some fun places to go for about a week to 2 week drive

This fair is one of the oldest in Maine and quite a hoot with tractor pulls, and country fair activities. Arcada NP is pretty awesome as well.

Another interesting stop if you head to Arcada is Perkins Cove in Ogunquit, ME. Just be sure to leave lots of time - parking is tough. In August US 1 can be a zoo; even impossible on weekends, but a pretty drive.
