    Default June roadtrip

    Planning trip from Cocoa Beach to Phoenix to Cincinnati in June. Have 2-3 weeks with a couple of days for business in Phoenix. Any ideas on what to see along the coast and out of the way places most people miss, including places to eat and stay that are different would be welcome.
    One caveat, I am driving a Mustang Convertible so need to stay in safer places.

    Default The MOST out of the way place

    Big Bend National Park is one of the most out of the way places in the USA -- and well-worth the side-trip, so I'm told. If you get there, see if the Starlight Dinner Theater is still in business -- and if "Miss Kitty" still presides at the Bar!

    Also along this route, along with the obvious choices like New Orleans, I'd include Dealey Plaza and the 6th Floor Museum in Dallas, the Alamo and Arizona's newest state park, Kartchner Caverns. Kartchner is a "live" cavern near Benson, AZ along I-10. It's beautiful.
