Hi everyone,

Me and a buddy are planning a trip in April starting in Greensboro NC, driving down to Miami and then back up to New York. Currently planning about 7 days for it. So first, is that enough time?

Second, any thoughts on route? I am thinking either drive down the Blue Ridge, past Atlanta, down the inside coast of Florida, then back up along the Atlantic coast; OR drive down along the Atlantic coast then back up inland (this means more of the mountains - maybe drive up through the Appalachians too and then cut in to NY).

Budgeting about $1000 each - does this seem reasonable?

I have never been on a road trip before so any advice you guys could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
