San Diego to Las Vegas (4 days - April)
Many places to stop off on the way. I like natural wonders.
I would like to have a decent stay in a few places and a couple of cold beers in the evening.
Got any suggestions.
Take the Long Way Around!
Why not take SR78 over through Julian and on to Blythe, then work your way north up Arizona's "west coast" (the Rio Colorado). Stop in Julian for a piece of apple pie, visit Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, do a pub crawl in Lake Havasu City underneath the London Bridge, and then go on north... once sober... to Laughlin and then on to Las Vegas via US95. It's starting to warm up, you might even enjoy a jet ski rental at Laughlin or Bullhead City, AZ.
