48 states in ?
It seems to me that I ince saw references to a record for circumnavigating the lower 48 states in such a way as to drive in all of them. I also recall this record being something like 7 days. Does anyone have any knowledge of or links to such endeavors today?
Thanks

All around US
Hi AZBuck,
There's a guy on the forum who did it, he posted some information about it in a thread called "How long - all around US" in the "Planning summer road trips" section of the forum. I believe he left his e-mail if you want to contact him.

Thanks, Gen, for the pointer. I found the thread, and the very last posting had what I was looking for. Less than 6 days indeed!

Still the Best Route
I have looked at a bunch of routes to accomplish this -- I still think the best of the best was pioneered by Quest-4 back in 1994. For more information, look at the Quest-4 page.
We also maintain a list of other noteworthy routes -- check out the routes page.
