    Default Virginia to the Redwood Forest

    A friend of mine and I are thinking about going on a road trip from Southwest Virginia to the Redwood Forest in June but we only have about five weeks to do it. Is this a reasonable amount of time to do it in or are we cutting it short? Also, I would appreciate any tips on interesting routes to take for anyone who has already done the trip. Thanks!

    Default Time

    Five weeks is plenty of time for a trip to California -- you could easily do it in three. What do you mean by interesting in terms of route -- are you looking for the "most scenic," or other types of attractions? Bob
