so i want to leave town, just curious about the best routes to head to tronto from chicago. also how long does it take?

Hi Claire,
you didn't say if you are interested in sightseeing along the way so I'll just give you the fastest route : I-94 and I-401 in Ontario. The drive from Chi to Detroit is about 3-4 hours and it's probably another 4-5 hours or so to Toronto, so let's say about 9 hours.
