what would be good to see after leaving Vegas

Want to fly to Vegas then rent a car to see surrounding sites. Please give suggestions so my week will not be wasted.

you must go to zion np and monument valley. These are two of my favorites. Death valley in the opposite direction is pretty neat too. Be careful that you don't bake yourself in the afternoon sun.

Lake Mead Nat'l Rec. Area, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon (AZ), Bryce Canyon (UT), Zion (UT), Grand Staircase Escalante (UT), Vermilion Cliffs (AZ), Glen Canyon (UT), Natural Bridges (UT), Canyonland (UT) and many other possibilities.
