Northern lights

This is a bit OT, but I thought that everyone should know that the Northern Lights have been making a visit to New England for the past couple of days, and I'm hearing it's going to continue until this weekend.

I witnessed them last night after work - it's the first time I've ever seen them (I never realized they can be visible this far "south") and it was quite interesting!

I've heard they are visible from the high country of Arizona occasionally, but I have never seen them! Someday I'll have to get far enough north to see them! Kind of eerie, eh?
