    Default Sacramento to Tampa

    My best friend is moving to Tampa from Sacramento and we are planning to make the drive together. I am wondering what everyone thinks would be the quickest way and how long you think its gonna take us. I would like to make a couple quick stops to the best places but I really need to get back to Florida as quick as possible to go back to work. Any ideas??

    Take a look at the thread "Miami to San Diego" -- it pretty much answers your questions except for the first leg down to I-10 from Sacramento. That just adds an extra day plus a couple of extra hours. I would do this by going down through Bakersfield to Barstow, Kingman, Phoenix (US93) and pick up I-10 at Phoenix. Bob
