    So my buddy's and I will be road tripping come the end of december into january. We'll be leaving from NJ and heading atleast up to California and upstate Washington. We've done this before but last time it was in the summer so I'm a bit curious as to what I should go and see. Just any suggestions on what's cool out there to check out. Doesn't have to be on the beaten path, we plan on visiting most of the 50 states just ending on the west coast.

    Default December and January?

    Sunny Beaches! Florida, Gulf Coast and Texas (South Padre), California! Spend a couple years partying in New Orleans. And if you take this advice, you don't even need to read my article on winter driving tips, found elsewhere on the RoadTripAmerica site!
