Going South!

To Mexico! Ensenada actually, for the weekend. Haven't been there in about 3 years, has anything changed drastically? I know I need to get short term Mexican Auto insurance, tolls have probably increased, and I'm bringing my passport just because I don't want the same troubles as last time, but any thing else I should be aware of? I'm assuming the highway is still there. Thanks

I've never driven too far into Mexico and wonder how the experience went -- last time I went to Ensenada it was on the 4-day LA to Ensenada cruise ship -- fun weekend but not the same as a road trip! Bob
