    Default Michigan to Colorado

    We're planning a trip from the Detroit area out to Longmont Colorado (SIL lives there) for next July with a 5 year old and 7 year old. Our travels take us through Iowa and Nebraska. Can anyone suggest any points of interest not to be missed for kids that age?

    Default Nebraska

    Hi,
    I'm not really familiar with that area but I went to Scottsbluff National Monument and I think it might be a great place for a family : nice sceneries, very light hikes. There are a lot of nice little "cowboys" towns on Highway 26 from Ogallala to Scottsbluff and great places also.
