    Hey! I am planning a two month road trip across the US starting in May. Is it safe to go alone or should I bring someone? Is anyone looking for a travel mate? Let me know what anyone thinks about finding a travel partner and what to watch out for. Thanks!

    Just a tip - you might get more responses if you post in the 'Share the Gas' section of this forum.

    Safety - alone or with someone, it depends on where you're planning to go. The usual rules of self preservation apply - don't go into the bad section of town at midnight, make sure you're with someone you can trust, etc.
