Default Hotels in South Central Oregon and/or Central Idaho

Does anyone know any interesting/nice places to stay in or north of the Lakeview Oregon area along Rt. 395? Also the same question for 25 miles east or west of the Arco area of Idaho along US-20. Thanks a bunch.

Default Knotty Pine Motel in Burns, OR

The stretch of highway north of Lakeview is stark, but beautiful. Last May, I stayed at a motel in Burns that was called the Knotty Pine, I believe. It is a Mom and Pop place, plain, but clean and comfortable and the price was very economical. Bob

    Default Vintage Airstream Trailers

Summer Lake Hotsprings has some vintage airstream trailers that are available for over-night stops. Hunters Hot Springs has also been re-furbished. Both are fun.

I don't know how far east you would consider "central Idaho" -- but another one of my favorite destinations is near Ririe, Idaho. The Heise Hotprings resort is mostly set-up for day-users and RVers, but there is a cabin in a rather awesome spot.
