Motels Costs HELP PLEASE

I am planning a trip accross america with 3 other friends but am having dificulty finding quotes for cheap motels. How much do motels rent rooms for and do they allow 4 people to share one room?. When i say motels a mean the cheap places you see in the movies e.g pschco, identity?

Yes, you can find motels that allow 4 adults in a room. In America you can find anything you are looking for.

"Cheap" motel rooms -- depending upon locale and levels of personal acceptability -- you can find rooms as cheaply as US$10.00 per night, but I would think a more reasonable standard would be in the US$25 to US$35 range.
