    Default Driving SF-LA

    Hi!
    We are a swedish couple and we are going to California for one and a half week. We are planning to rent a car and drive from San Francisco to La. We would be grateful for any tips you can give us. How long does this trip take? We are planning to do this in one day so we don't have to much time. Are there any special sites that we need to see along the way?

    Default Fastest route is 6 hours

    If you use I-5 the distance can be covered in 6 hours. But if you've never traveled the coast -- Big Sur -- I would recommend it. The coast trip will take closer to 10 hours but quite scenic.
