Self move from Austin, TX to Kansas City first week in July

I am moving from Austin to KC the first week in July. I'm planning on renting a 15' truck to haul my belongings. I'll have a friend to accompany on the trip, but I'm still a little apprehensive about moving myself. Does anyone have any suggestions about what truck rental company to use or any other helpful information they would like to share?

Sorry I cant really help you with your question but I'm kind of curious as to why the move to KC? I live in KC but would rather live in Austin given the choice. Talk to ya later!
