Sleeping at rest stops....safe?

Just curious if there are any tips or suggestions out there on this subject as I am considering parking and sleeping in my car at a rest stop. Thanks.

KC Guy -- if you use the "Search" function on the top of this page, (right next to the "Options" button) and enter "rest stops" (you don't have to specify a thread group) you can review some of the information submitted on this subject. A summary: in most states it is illegal to sleep at rest stops in a car and in 99% of the rest it is not a good idea!
