    Planing a writing/road trip from Pittsburgh to Anchorage starting end of June. Not in any hurry, looking for inspiration and America. any destinanions, tips or suggestions welcom.

    Default Talkeetna & Eagle Sanctuary

    One of our RTA correspondents was in Talkeetna earlier this year -- http://www.roadtripamerica.com/places/talkeetna.htm and the Bald Eagle preserve outside of Haines, AK would be on my list!

    Default Once in Anchorage

    When you arrive in Anchorage a great place to eat is the Glacier Brewhouse. The food there is great!!
