    Default Michigan to Alabama

Could anyone please help me ???!!!!! My mother and her husband will be traveling down here to Birmingham, Alabama from Muskegon, Michigan, in a few weeks. They do not want to travel on any interstates, only back roads. The "busy hussle and bussle" gets them a bit frazzled and are not used to high speeds. They are interested in antiques and have a passion to stop off in "old cities" Please any suggestions would definately help. I myself am so help to them, I enjoy the interstate travel.

    Default huntsville, AL

Make sure to stop in Huntsville, AL on your way by. It's the birth place of the American space industry. It, also, is one of the most high tech cities in the world. Home to the second largest research park in the world, which also happens to be the largest defense research park. The Space and Rocket Center is the largest museum dedicated to space travel and exploration in the world. You can dabble in what astronauts get to do. Also, it is situated at the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, therefore is a very picturesque setting. Make sure to stop here.
