  1. Default Which was would be fastest?

Does anyone know of a faster way from Albuquerque to Denver instead of staying on I-25 the whole way? I noticed that after leaving Albuquerque, I-25 goes south in the other direction then continues to go north. I'm wondering if there is anyway of bypassing this southern turn. Thanks for any responses you may have.

    Default Fastest or most scenic?

Dan, It will certainly be fastest to stay on I-25. The other routest are very scenic but without a helicopter there is no faster way pass the Sangre De Christo mountains.

Traveling at the speed limit, the distance can be covered in about 6.5 hours.

Actually, you might be able to shave off a few minutes by using I-40 to US-84 to I-25 and then speed run up to Denver.
