My cousin and I (both from Denmark) Is going on a roadtrip from NYC to LA in November.

We would like to buy a cheap car, but don't know what to do with insurrance and stuff (and where to buy the car)

We will arrive in New York Nov 2. and leave from LA at Nov. 28
