    Default Where to go?

Originally my best friend and I were going to head to France this summer but due to the terrorist threats, my mom refuses to let me out of the country. So instead, I thought it might be fun if we went on a road trip. The only problem is, I don't know where we should go. I was hoping that someone out there could give me some suggestions about what city would be a good place for a couple of 20-year old females to visit. Thanks a lot! Feel free to email me at LSlovey@hotmail.com.

Well, my best friend is in the Pennsylvania/Delaware area and I will probably be in either Michigan or Florida. Since I will probably have to do most of the driving since I'll have to pick her up (from where ever I am) I thought of staying East of the Mississippi. Any good suggestions?

    Default Road trip

There is nothing quite like a cross country roadtrip! It will be an adventure that you and your friend will never forget! I've done it alone twice in the past 2 years. You might think that a "spontanious, unplanned" trip is the way to go, but personally I think it's more fun to know what's out there to see! I suggest you get a nice, big road atlas. Get familiar with the highway system. Next, buy a big map of the US and tack it to you wall so you can get a good idea of what each state looks like. Get on the internet & contact "tourism" in each state & request their free brochures. Check out campgrounds & youth hostels. Hostels are safe & cheap ranging from $8/night to $19/night.

    Default Take a gander

Don, Take a look at the query I posted under "Off the Beaten Path" regarding the Indian Tunnel. With your road smarts I bet you might have seen this sometime.

    Thanks,

    Mark
