Suggestions anyone?
Hi. I have around 2 weeks in early December. I live in NYC, but can fly elsewhere and rent a car there. Are there any great recommendations for this time of year? (Not interested in ANY East Coast at all!). Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

I would persoanlly suggest visiting the rockies in either B.C. or Alberta, Canada. They are absolutley BEAUTIFUL and there is tons to do, see, and explore during the winter months! Besides, the cost is cheaper because its not during tourist season.

And what I'd like to know, is would the two of you like a 24yo guy to come with? hahahah. atlaswanderer@hotmail.com. Sounds like fun. ;-)
Really, though, hope you find a good place. I am a sucker for New Orleans, but I'm a jazz freak. You could always come out to my part of the country, which is beautiful in December. The San Francisco Bay Area has all the culture you need, plus you can take tons of trips up and down the coast to wonderful little locations. You can day trip to the Napa Valley and wine taste or stay at a bed and breakfast overnight. Or you could take Highway 1 up into Mendocino and enjoy the expansive ocean views and charming coastal towns. There are plenty of beaches and mountains if you are an outdoors lover. It's actually a pretty ideal place to visit at this time of year.
Email me if you want to know more.
