Default Cell Phones with the same phone number.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to convert an analog phone number to same phone number as I have on my Nokia 6100. I have this expensive hands free phone in my car that I can't use because I can't get an affordable analog program. So I bought the nokia and would like to convert my phone in the car to the same code. So I can use it on the road hands free!

    Default Toggling Two Numbers?

    Road Greetings Larry,

The Nokia 6100 series phones have the capability of mutliple phone numbers in the handsets. In our first Nokia unit (2160) we toggled between the numbers depending which network we were using. It only rings on one number at a time. It shouldn't matter that one is digital and one is an analog service. In my weekly column, ("Road Wirer" which I hope to post tomorrow) I will provide the link for a new Nokia on-line help desk that should provide the proper protocols to use this feature.

Actually, there may be a better option for on-the-road hands free. I should have some information posted by 3/9.
