US-34 closed between Loveland and Estes Park, CO

According to cotrip.org, US-34 is closed through Big Thompson Canyon for reconstruction, will not be reopening till next summer. Visitors to Rocky Mountain National Park will need to use US-36 or CO-7 to get to Estes Park.

Trail Ridge Road is presently closed, but "may reopen, weather permitting".

US-34 through the canyon was opened for the summer on May 25, but there will be intermittent 15 to 30 minute delays due to rolling lane closures. In October, they will close it again till May 2018.
