  1. Default The road to Sequim?

First, thanks for the answers to my earlier question about the best route for driving a moving truck east. Before that move, we are driving from SFO to Sequim WA for Christmas. Is it best to drive on the east side and take the ferry across or to stay on the west side of the Puget Sound? I know the pacific northwest has recently been hit with bad weather but I am not sure if that should impact our choice of which route to take.

Thanks again, what a terrific site!

    Default short lived

I'm not sure exactly what the conditions are at this point, however, it would take a pretty major event for something that happened today to still have an impact on travel conditions by next week.

Having said that, hopefully our Judy, our resident Olympic Pennisulan, will be around sometime to give you more specific intel on the region.

Looking at the map, It looks like taking I-5 to Tacoma then WA-106, WA-3, and WA-104 to US-101 would be the best bet. I certainly think that would be a lot faster than trying to taking a ferry.
