  1. Default How to buy a car without being a US resident

Coming from New Zealand and planning on doing a roadtrip from Seattle to Denver where my brother is getting married. Planning on travelling for about 2 months.

Just wondered what the deal was with buying a car in Seattle without being a resident, and then selling in Denver. My brother lives in the US so maybe i could register it at his house. Would i be able to buy a car in Seattle and register it at my bros home in Denver?

    Any help would be great!

Having a brother with a US address will be a big help, but not nearly as much if you try to buy in Seattle. You'd be in much better shape if you try to buy the car in Denver. Once you buy it and have it registered, you should be able to sell it pretty much anywhere else in the US.
