I'm new to the board, but I just love it! Lots of great tips and stories. Anyways I am planning a roadtrip with a friend and we are looking for some interesting things to see along the way, and any suggestions once we are in Arkansas.
We are leaving in August, and are heading from Vancouver to Yellowstone park, from there we are heading down to New Mexico, and then ending in Fort Smith, Arkansas to stay with a friend. Its kind of a weird way to go, but we both want to see Yellowstone, and NM so we figured why not? We haven't set out exact routes to get anywhere, so I'd love to hear about anything we shouldn't miss along the way. We are 2 girls travelling with a dog, we can't leave her in the car so along the way we can only do things that allow pets as well. But odd roadside attractions and giant things are always welcome! :) Any and all suggestions are welcomed.
Also once we end up in Fort Smith we need a few things to do. We are spending a day in Memphis and going to see Graceland, but once again we are pretty open to what we see and do. Anything within a 4 hour driving radius is ok with us.
And thanks in advance!
