    Default NYC to Grand Canyon Rte 66

    Looking to do our first long road trip. Is it possible to get to the G.C. from NYC in 3 days? Not looking to rush all the way out. Good, clean accommodations recommendations along the way would be appreciated. Plan on making this a 12 day trip. Thanks.

    Welcome to the Great American RoadTrip Forum! It would be possible to reach the Grand Canyon from NYC in three days, I have done it -- but I drove, non-stop and it took every second of 38 hours to do it. You can not travel the 2400 miles between these two places and still have time for "good, clean, accomodations" -- perhaps I have mis-understood the question?
