We are traveling from Sacramento Ca to Sturgis South Dakota...our route will be I-80 to I-25 to US-16 then I-90....we are looking for points of fun and interest along the way...any suggestions would be very helpful.

Welcome to the Great American RoadTrip Forum! Are you traveling via motorcycle or car? How much time do you have for the transit? Places to consider stopping: -- Bucket of Blood Saloon in Virginia City, Lake Tahoe, Black Rock Desert, "The Tree of Life". Why are you staying on I-25 (it goes the wrong way -- west) At Cheyenne I would just go north on US-85. You can swing by Ft. Laramie and eventually Wind Cave NP on your way in.
