Texas to Connecticut, need ideas

hey everyone, this'll be my first roadtrip so wish me luck. Im going up to visit relatives I haven't seen in a long time. I most likely will be going from san antonio, TX to atlanta, GA to Connecticut. Like a lot of people, I love music, and was wondering if anyone knew of good places to stop that are music related, along the way. Even if there's a show you know of thats coming up. I dont know my exact dates but it should be pretty soon. Of course if you have just general suggestion about where I should stop those'll be appreciated too :) . Thanks for your time,

Like a lot of people, I love music, and was wondering if anyone knew of good places to stop that are music related, along the way.

I just posted a thread about the Pickin' in the Square that goes on every night in Mountain View, Arkansas. Plus Festivals.com is a good source for music events. How long are you planning for this trip to be?

honestly its a play it by ear kinda thing. i dont wanna have set plans for where i'll be everynight. or, at least not rush through the drive.
