I'm considering a new portable GPS and I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with any of the different brands. In other words- One better than the other?

There are so many different makes out there now, it's confusing.

It all comes down to what you are going to use it for. I have used a few, but my experience would probably just add to your confusion. However, there are a couple of guys that have excellent web sites that can help narrow your choices down a little. I use both of them myself.

Jonathan Melby and Jay Snively are the guys I recommend. Both of their sites are listed on the top of this RTA GPS Equipment page.

Any trips for you guys this year?
