Hello everybody, this is my first... I would love all you experts to help me.. I live in Preston Lancashire in England and I am planning my summer hols, I have flights to Las Vegas in august, I would like to spend a couple of nights there, would also like to take in Grand Canyon North rim, Santa Barbara, Sanfrancisco and maybe a natioanl park, if you could suggest a route to include these and any hotels etc...the best advice is from those who have already done it and it would be really really appreciated.

Welcome to the Great American RoadTrip Forum! That route has some significant zigs and zags in it. How long will you have in the USA?

Hi Keith,

Here are other suggestions of places to see within Nevada and California. If you plan on going to several National Parks, I strongly suggest you buy an Annual Pass (~50$).

A big thanks to you both for all these links, I think maybe I am going to have to be a little less ambitious with how much we see, otherwise we will be spreading ourselves too thinly, have looked at the links and boy are we gonna have a great holiday.
