Six family members from Hawaii -- two young adults, two mature, and two seniors, making a trip to Vegas to meet up with two more young adult family members. Want to spend 3 days there to see their college campus (UNLV) and hopefully the seniors will get to see Barry Manilow.
Then we plan to drive down through Arizona -- including the Grand Canyon. We will have about 7 nights on the road.
Need suggestions about EVERYTHING -- what should we not miss seeing, what should be on the optional list ... should we try for the Grand Canyon going or coming back. How far can we go and not spend all our time driving?
We do want to include Sedona, maybe a horseback ride or jeep tour (recommended in Frommer's) and a hot air balloon ride? How expensive is that? Is it worth it?
Would love to hear from anyone with suggestions.
