• Jerusalem Mill Village - Kingsville, Maryland

Step back in time when a gristmill operated in the 18th and 19th centuries in this Quaker settlement. On Sunday afternoons, the village comes to life with the help of living history interpreters who demonstrate various activities essential to daily life in times past. Hike nearby trails and see one of only six covered bridges left in Maryland. Biking, fishing, wading and bird watching are other favorite activities.

      If you go:
The visitor center, museum and shops are open Sunday afternoons from 1-4 and some Saturday afternoons. The nearby trails and area are open from sunrise to sunset. Pets allowed on leash on the trail.
