Nestled between skyscrapers, this small cemetery is the resting place for a good number of classic Hollywood stars. Marilyn Monroe, Don Knotts, Jack Lemmon, Peter Falk, and Billy Wilder are some of the best known names to be found here. One gets the feeling of having found something secret here; the tall buildings and nearly hidden entrance create a sense of having entered into a separate world.

      If you go:
Finding it can be challenging, despite having directions. There are two alleyways (one from Wilshire Boulevard next to the U.S. Bank and the other from Glendon Avenue) that will get you to the gates. There is free street parking and limited parking within the cemetery. Visiting hours are from 8:00 a.m. to dusk daily.

Also buried here: Carroll O'Connor (Archie Bunker) and Sidney Sheldon (author and also the creator of 3 TV shows in the 60s and 70s).

It *is* difficult to locate, but once you find it, you're amazed that it even exists.
