• Isaac H. Evans Schooner - Rockland, Maine

Sail in a National Historic Landmark! Launched in 1886 and used for oystering, the Evans has had a checkered career. Now under the ownership of Captains Brenda and Brian, you can sail the Penobscot Bay with its myriad of islands. Enjoy a lobster bake onshore. The itinerary? Wherever the winds blow! Perhaps a themed trip like the Pirate Adventure will appeal to you or just relax and enjoy sitting on the deck, eating food cooked on a 1904 wood stove or help out with raising the sails. It's up to you!

      If you go:
One, two, three, four and six-night cruises available. Food and bedding is included. Parking available at Front Street. Small RVs could fit. See website for schedule and themed trips.

Update June 2023: It is unclear whether the ship is still operating. The villagesoup link is to a news article describing it being renamed as the Boyd N. Shepard, but there is some evidence its previous name has been restored.
