Hi All,

After a brilliant Route 66 in 2009, including a drive back to Chicago to fly back to the UK; I am once again hitting the road in September/October intending to take 21 days to cover the 4,500 miles from Seattle down the West coast to San Diego before turning left across the southern states intending to finish at Key West before flying back from Miami.

Mad? Yep, but not as bonkers as the Chicago, LA, SF, Eureka. Reno, etc trip back to Chicago!!

Any pointers for the trip across the southern states?
