Taking mom, dad who are visiting US for a road trip.

Day 1: LA-> Vegas
Day 2: Vegas->Hoover->GC Village
Day 3: Stay at GC
Day 4: GC-> Page(Smooth water rafting)->Springdale
Day 5: Zion->Vegas
Day 6: Vegas-> LA

Since Mom,Dad are post 60 and I am the sole driver I want to break trip at vegas while returning.
Any comments on itinerary how it may be more effective? Also any tips on road conditions since I am planning to take my Prius.
