LV in February

Visited LV last FEb for a Trade Show and then went on to a big 2 week loop including Red Rock Canyon, Zion, Brice, Mesalands, Sedona, Route 66, G.C., etc.

Next Feb I am looking for suggestions on a 2 week trip that would start in LV and then head south toward Santa Fe, Albuquerque, , etc.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

And here are a few ideas to get you started, Hello and welcome to the RTA forums !

It's actually East to Santa Fe but you could head South across the Mojave national preserve and even down to Joshua tree NP if you so wished. As you headed East towards Tucson you have the Sonoran Desert NM and/or a detour to Organ pipe NM. Other possibility's would be Kartchner caverns and Coronado national forest, Tombstone, White sands NP and even a trip to Carlsbad caverns would be possible before heading North to Santa Fe. Are you finishing in Santa Fe or returning to Vegas? Along I 40 you could take detours to Acomba pueblo [sky city], Canyon De Chelley and the Petrified forest/ painted desert. While in the Santa Fe area you might want to check out some of these excellent suggestions by Howard.

Not sure I whether or not I want to return to Vegas. Awful lot of driving covering areas I have mostly been over before. Depends on how much of a premium I have to pay for airfare and car.

Picki8ng up a friend in ABQ 1/29 and will probably do SFe and ABQ those 4 days.

Things I know we will want to do include Carlsbad and Canyon de Chelly

Any off the wall suggestions like Bisbee?

It's not at all clear from your posts what the extent of your trip is, or when you'll be where other than in Albuquerque on the 29th. But in the general area of southeastern Arizona and central to southwestern New Mexico, some sites you might consider include Taos Pueblo, Petroglyph National Monument, the Very Large Array in Socorro, Chiricahua National Monument, Tombstone, Kartchner Caverns, and the Coronado Trail Scenic Highway.
