The Casa Grande Fire Station Mural was painted by artist Bonnie Mostert of Avondale, Arizona. It's located at Fire Station No.1, 101 E. 5th Street in Casa Grande, Arizona. [Map]

The mural was dedicated on November 29, 1994, and depicts the history of firefighters, from the days of horse and wagon through today's modern fire engines and equipment.

Casa Grande is located about halfway between Phoenix and Tucson and has several murals painted in various styles.



One of our favorite murals is this one showing easy access to the wonders of the desert with just a click of a computer mouse. The photograph was taken by Gerald Thurman, but we have been unable to identify the artist. We we will update this page if you know the artist's name and send us the information.
