    Default Located in Nebraska?

I've come back to Beatrice -- but this time for the Homestead Monument -- not really historical in nature.

The state it's in has not been mentioned yet.

One interesting note on this sign. It actually has a very noticeable mistake in it's title.

Default Not 'historical', but in the past?

One of the previous 'center of population' locations (e.g. in the 1900s) in Illinois?

No, this place's relevance is current (and it's not in Illinois), and the same as if it was put up 100 years ago (it wasn't, I'm not sure when the sign and the park were built).

    Default "Da Plane, Da Plane"

Does the relevance of this location deal with a view one has from this spot?

Does a particular animal or bird always come back here each year?

    Default Hah!

    45 degrees North
    90 degrees West
In the middle of a soybean field in North-Central Wisconsin

The mistake is the GEOLOGICAL Marker, it should be Geographical. But this and one spot in China are the only 2 45/90 spots on land. It's just SW of Wausau.

And As a note that I discovered from Googling it too see how hard it is to find (which is why I definitely blurred Geological Marker), the actual spot is about 1000 ft north of the benchmark. With the accuracy of GPS units now, they had to add a small sign explaining this fact.

Twilight: Really an excellent puzzle -- we really had to work to get this one! -- Thanks -- Mark
