    Default A clue.

The name of the mountain range to the East of this location, when translated in English is "Blood of Christ".

Quite apt in this case as another of the sculptures show.

I can't find the exact name for the building but it is generally referred to as the Sange de Cristo Chapel I believe?

    Default Correct translation.

"Sangre de Cristo" is the correct translation for the name of the mountain range, but not the place itself. I'll let it run for a while before giving more clues.
To recap, I am asking for the name of the town this place looks down on and what it is known as.

It's the Shrine of the Stations of the Cross, overlooking the town of San Luis in Colorado.

Correcto ! San Luis is also the oldest town in existence in Colorado.
