Nj to ca adventure!

Hello everyone. I am going on a crosscountry drive with 2 friends in August leaving NJ and ending up in San Diego. We are camping along the way. Does anyone have suggestions of the best route/ places to stop along the way?

There is simply no way that anyone can help you given the scant information you have provided. How old are you all? What are your interests? How much time do you have for your trip? How much money? Most importantly, this is no one's trip but yours and it will be up to you all to make the first cut at a plan. I'd suggest that you start by doing two things. Take the RoadTrip Compatibility Quiz with your friends and first decide what kind of trip you want to take, and then get out a good map or atlas of the U.S. and start marking places you'd like to visit that meet your goals. Once you've got those two basics accomplished, the general framework and route of your own RoadTrip should start to emerge and then people can help fill in some of the blank spots or offer suggestions.
